A long-time friend since 1979, Amy passed away from cancer and I was given the opportunity by the Senior Pastor to minister either as a worship leader at the cremation service or to preach at the wake service. One thing I learned from this encounter is that cancer can take away our health, mobility aqqnd our bank account but it will never destroy our relationships, our love, our courage, our passion, our eternal life in Jesus, our faith and our memories. Cancer can and will never negate the power of Christ’s resurrection.
